The Bellingham/Whatcom Technology Alliance Group (TAG) was formed in 1999 to address the needs of a growing technology industry in Whatcom County. As the industry evolved, membership grew and an increasing number of companies were positively impacted by TAG's mission to promote, educate, and advocate for Northwest Washington technology businesses.

Small Business Development Center
The SBDC can help you develop solutions to your business problems. The professionals at the SBDC have experience with small businesses and the issues they face. SBDC services are free and confidential to small business owners and managers in Whatcom, Skagit and Island Counties. The program is funded by Western Washington University´s College of Business and Economics, the Small Business Administration, the Port of Bellingham, the Cities of Bellingham and Sumas, and through community and client donations.
WTC is a statewide economic development agency focused on technology and innovation. WTC channels state, federal, and private resources to help companies develop and commercialize new products and technologies.
